At the end of January, PURE Grips headed to Orlando, Florida for the year’s largest golf merchandise trade show. With our innovative grips in hand – including prototypes of our new, available colors – we took the Orange Country Convention Center by storm and made plenty of new PURE Grips converts.
From the demo day on January 26th through the last day of the show on the 30th, we handed out samples and demonstrated our quick-and-easy tapeless installation process to any and all who came by our booth. In an industry where grips often require solvents, tape and drying time, our unique process attracted hundreds of players, media members and industry professionals who wanted to know if our grips were for real.
We’re proud to say, everyone walked away impressed and several media outlets even took the time to showcase our product on their shows. PURE Grips founder Wes Brasher –one of the busiest men at the PGA Show – conducted interviews on XM satellite radio as well as on GolfWeek.com and BunkerShot.com’s Par 3 Pitch show.
But it wasn’t just PURE Grips’ fast, tapeless installation process that earned us fans. Many who came by were pleased to learn our grips are made and manufactured in Phoenix, Arizona rather than China. And those who had the opportunity to experience our grips on a club, appreciated the exceptional feel and tackiness provided by our proprietary rubber formulation. With the ability to install and remove grips within seconds, we were able to let people experience all our different grips and find the style that best fit their game.
Our second year at the PGA Merchandise Show proved to be a huge success. Thanks to all who came out and we look forward to returning next year!
