Tracy has a long history with the sport, being that he played golf at University of Wyoming from 1994-1998 and became an Academic All American in 1998. He has enjoyed serving on the Member Board of Directors for the First Tee University of Wyoming since 2007 as well as being a member of the Legal Counsel for the Golf Coaches Association of America since 2006.

Tracy currently serves as the Director of Planned Giving for the University of Wyoming Foundation in Laramie and has served in that capacity since September 2008. Prior to joining the UW Foundation senior management team, he worked as an estate planning attorney for 5 years in Jacksonville, Florida and Casper, Wyoming with the focus of his practice in the areas of wealth preservation and succession planning, corporate transactions, and probate and trust administration. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida. Tracy remains licensed in the state of Wyoming and the state of Florida (as a non-active member of the Florida Bar).
